Slipping through the trees, strangling the breeze
Dead I am the sky, watching angels cry
While they slowly turn, conquering the worm

Dig through the ditches,
And burn through the witches
I slam in the...

Let me first say that this song is song is amazing. Rob Zombie's "Hillbilly Deluxe" was an awesome album.

"Dragula" was based on his own racing car called "Dragula".

    Rob Zombie is awesome.

The song says DraGula, and it has nothing to do with Dracula. Gawd.

it is about the drag racer, but the car in the video is the munster koach. the dragula was made of a gold coffin that grandpa munster raced against her in the koach...

There is no wrong interpretation, but it could be about a song but it can mean a lot of different things. It means what you want it to mean!!

ok this may not exactly be an interpretation.. but i remember when Rob Zombie had Twisted Metal put him as a character in one of the games because Twisted Metal wanted Dragula in the soundtrack lol.

Actually, even according to Rob himself, it is about the car from the Munsters- in fact, the car in question is the one in the video

The only mention of the car here is when he's throwing witches in the back which I guess are dead
since he's calling on dead souls to dig out of the ditches
    and burn through the witches

he is the soul of the rats that take revenge on their enemy eating them alive

he is the fist that breaks the bones in a drunken fight

This song is sung from the point of Dragula (vampire) and singing about what the evil things are that he does. For example, "...Exterminating son... watching angels cry
While they slowly turn, conquering the worm" -- here it sounds like he killed someone, and is watching the family weep over his grave as he is "conquering the worm"

"Dead I am the pool, spreading from the fool" -- this line is saying that he is the blood spreading from one of his victims. Essentially, this song is just dragula having a good time terrorizing and killing people.
