    the song is about going hard stuff and making it out with victory.when it talks about going in the deep darkness i think it is jesus talking and saying that he know what were going through cause he's been there and knows. also on the next part i think it is talking about people around us that are our friends, family,church, who are willing encourage us when we feel down about our troubles.
