I really don't know but I think this song might actually have a deeper meaning. The thing that has a fetish isn't a person, but her mental illness that keeps coming back again and again no matter how many times she pushes it out. Selena also sings that she's not surprised that this happens because maybe by being famous and having so much pressure on her, she's an easy target for the dark illness. I'm not that great at explaining, but I hope you get the main idea. Just listen to the song again keeping this in mind, it seems to make a lot of sense. I think the music video says the same thing as well. Let me know if you agree?
