Selena Gomez: Who Says Meaning
Who Says Lyrics
I wouldn't want to be anybody else
You made me insecure
Told me I wasn't good enough
But who are you to judge
When you're a diamond in the rough
I'm sure you got some things
You'd like to change about yourself
But when...

This songs relates to me and my life because it has great meaning. This song means that we shouldn’t listen to what other people say about us. Nobody can tell us something bad about what we do or who we are. We shouldn’t let others change us because we’re perfect the way we are and we should embrace our beauty. It’s also about our inner beauty - we should just be ourselves instead of trying to be someone better as in: outer beauty. No one can’t tell us, girls that we can’t be perfect or achieve better things in life, and we’re not the best, not worth it, not pretty, not beautiful, not star potential, or not presidential just like in the song.
I’ve experienced this song in 6th grade, too. Sometimes, I hear people in school being mean to each other. They shouldn’t listen to those bullies. We shouldn’t judge people by what they look like. In the song it also says, “But who are you to judge.” It’s the personality about that person that matters the most-their inside and inner beauty. It’s not about what they look like on the outside. If someone looks nice outside doesn’t mean they could be nice inside. You have to know them first. Sometimes I get bullied, too and I hear people saying I’m not worth it but, that’s ok for me because I wouldn’t listen to them anyways. We shouldn’t judge a book by its cover either. Selena Gomez says that we’ve got every right to a beautiful life. She made this song to give her fans a message and yes, we, her fans, do understand that we should never listen to any thing negative because WHO SAYS we can’t be or do that?! -
I think that this song is about girls who worry to much about their looks, and they think their not pretty. Well I think Selena is saying that those girls are wrong!! Outer beauty is important, but not as important as outer beauty!!..

The lyrics are GREAT & it has a positive message! That is what matters.

About being yourself and not letting anyone telling you what you can or cant be!

Everyone has something that makes them unique, you just got to find that shit. Who says you're ugly, you don't know, but other people anywhere, even the quiet ones will think you're the most beautiful thing in the world.

It's about haters for sure it's a message for them why would she talk about inner beauty singers do that there's messages in songs and inner beauty is random for her I no it's for haters inner beauty means nothing to her she's talking about herself and the interview proves it because the song means what the artist intended it to be besides she knows she's pretty so that doesn't matter to her

"who says" is about dont listen to what others say...be who you wanna be....dont let others change you.....be yourself.
Not about haters jealous of her and justin.
Even though she said it in an interview saying its about the haters...its not...if you listen to that song a million times, you would see what shes trying to say..put the song on full blast...if you think the song is about the haters..ok..but to me its about inner beauty -
