Slipknot: Vermilion Pt. 2 Meaning
Vermilion Pt. 2 Lyrics
Stretched across my shame
All the torment and the pain
Leaked through and covered me
I'd do anything to have her to myself
Just to have her for myself
Now I don't know what to do
I don't know what to...

This song is a take off of the first which is all about a stalker and a girl that's being stalked. Go to the slipknot website metabolic666.com. I'm the biggest maggot ever.

He is trying to put up a perfect facade for this girl. He changes or acts different when he dosen't really mean to when she comes around. I think he is feeling bad about trying to make this person seem so perfect when really she is far from it. I think because he hates how people treat him and that's why he tryed to make her flawless less human as possible but in the end he sees she is opnly human and no ones perfect and to try to make someone perfect is just only dragging yourself down. So he is willing to accept the flaws and he won't let it bother him much anymore.

Your close to Being Right, the girl isn't real it was a dream that he had about the girl and he desperately wanted her. "She isn't real" supports this. "But I won't let this build up inside of me." is another thing that helped this theory.
