1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:This song is about a guy who abuses his partner. "Stay inside your hole let me take control" it sounds like he is telling her about or this is his trian of thought. The chorus relates to the topic greatly
"I never wanted anybody more, then I want you. The only thing I ever really loved, was hurting you. I never wanted anybody more, then I want you. The only thing I ever really loved, hate"
The song builds up to a climax where he finishes the song saying "your mine"' as in with all his beatings he has take her as a posetion instead of a person. -
2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:I think the song tells about a person who has dual side of a person. How the other one tryin' to control the meek side. The inner and the caged evil, yet powerful and smarter, one is trying to convince the weaker one, which is visible to the people, to let him take control of the body. His, weaker one's, stupidity, innocence, naive thoughts, weakness is not only hurting him but also the inner one.

Most people assume that the person that is addicted to the drug is abusing drugs. That's a misconception.
The Drug abusing the person rather than the person abusing the drug.
Think of it as a man debating with the drug itself. As if the drug is talking to him.
The man starts the debate...
By the seventh line, the drug knows it's in control and begins to mock him...
As he becomes more submissive to the drug, the drug becomes more aggressive.
The drug being ....Herion.
Man = Pathetic (Drug = benign)
Drug = Accept it (Man = undermine)
Drug = Your opinion (Man = my justification)
Drug = Happy (Man = safe)
Drug = Servent (Man = caged)
Drug = Malice (Man = Utter weakness)
No toleration
At this point the drug knows it's in control and it just progressively becomes more and more violent to the person.
The more a person is abused the more submissive they become.
My thoughts on the song;
This is a very unique
illustration of the addict at the mercy of his addiction. I applaud the writers behind the song because they have a true understanding of the struggles behind addiction.
My thoughts on addiction;
A drug addict doesn't want to be addicted. It's ludicrous to think that is a life choice for a person. Could a person make different choices to prevent themselves from becoming an addict? Sure they could , just remember though , No one says "When I grow up I want to be a drug addict".
Addiction is a side effect. It's not on purpose, and it's not by choice.
Truth is; drugs are never the problem.
Drugs typically is somebody's solution to a problem.
The side effect of that is addiction.

If you know someone that is struggling with addiction be supportive.

Song is definitely about an abusive relationship having to do w rape and jealousy n shit. So good but so deep.

I think the song is about a man being violent and obsessive over his partner. One minute he loves her, the next he's beating her. That kind of thing.
And to all those people who are just posting random bullshit, go do it somewhere else. Some people actually want to find out the meanings of songs, not read your crap. GTFO. -
This song to me is about submission about a man who owns a female she is dominant to him. Shes kinda his slave. from such words as obey me worship live for either live for me or give up any chance you have of being free. Its an amazing song <3

It's about how for a long time Corey was in love with a positively loathsome creation. Possibly his previous image in the band. I read it somewhere Corey himself said that this song was kinda a hint to all those people who fucked them over and really stirred up shit on the IOWA cycle.

This song is about a violent obsession with someone, with manic depressive modes. There are moments of loving and caring then he goes into confusion and bliss, snapping and abusing/controlling the person.
-
this song is about abusing things, not always people, you love. it could go as far to say that fans of anyone in the public eye abuse the celeb or band by always making comments on their life and never giving them their space until the band or celeb breaks
-
The song is really a part 2 to the song Purity.

This song is about a man's relationship to God. An unhappy one at that, where he feels God is extremely selfish for demanding such attention and dedication (As our church leaders instruct us.) It's about this guy complaining to God, and God is just beating him down with intimidation. God is bragging about his power in this song as well ("Stay inside the hole - let me take control DOMINATE You were nothing more - you were something less INNOCENT Something has to give - something has to break OMNIPRESENT") Man is nothing more than an innocent simpleton, God is the Omnipresent, dominating and controlling one. That's IT.
