the "you" in this song is clearly and can only be God. Everything in the lyrics scream of it , whether the composer meant it or not. If the spirit of God (aka "the hound of heaven") has never laid on you "here I am", then you probably don't get it.

I think it’s much more magickal of a meaning. She seems to reference trusting your intuition because that’s where the truth lies. Being drawn to the sea feels like grounding and meditation. It just reads to me like a true moment of connecting with your higher self and with Mother Nature and finally finding that love and peace you’ve been searching for...but finding it in yourself.

I think it means its a love not a relationship love but any type of love of someone passed on.. and you think of them sending you peace and well wishes..❤ and you flow like water to the sea over the mountains like a glove, you're safe and secure in the glove. What do you think?
