Stevie Nicks: Love Is Meaning
Love Is Lyrics
-
Since Trouble In Shangri La came out just a few years after she and Lindsey reunited during The Dance, given the time I’d say this is about Lindsey. She credits him with getting her through her first tour after her klonopin addiction when she was scared to go back on the road, but when Kristen became pregnant she told him he had to go to her instead. They didn’t break up because they didn’t love each other but because it was the right thing to do. That’s evident in the second half of the song with the tear falling to the floor because she knew he had to leave. It’s like a Shakespeare tragedy, Stevie and Lindsey. So sad.

It has to be Lindsey. She's said herself that no one has ever loved her as much as he did..even after the drugs & fame & then dumping him & screwing EVERY guy in the music industry! (dam near)

It’s about Lindsey. They started when they were young and fell in love. Then he left her to go on the road and cheated. They got back together in mid life, but then Lindsey found out his girlfriend at home was pregnant. So he left Stevie again. And told her not to let his future wife know about the affair. She was heartbroken. And had really trusted in the relationship, that Lindsey wouldn’t leave her. Later in life, they tried to work through all of the pain. And Stevie says yes, she is happy; yes, she knows he loved her; yes she understands now why he couldn’t stay.

Definitely Lindsey Buckingham. She gave the answer in the videos of her life performance of the song, when she would look towards her left where Lindsey normally stands during their shows together and says “Yes I do”

I think it’s about if she really known what love is all about he thinks she knows what love is but really she does not it’s about loving some one and they can not be there for you maybe he is married but loves her and can’t be with her because of his situation but she tells him that she is done then a few years or months go bye and he ask her is she knows what love is all about and she said yes it’s the part she has to loose him to know what to feel and that she lives him but does not want to share him
