System of a Down: Cigaro Meaning
Song Released: 2005
Cigaro Lyrics
My cock can walk right through the door
With a feeling so pure..
It's got you screaming back for more.
Cool, in denial
We're the cruel regulators smoking
CIGARO CIGARO CIGARO
Cool, in denial
We're the...

So many different interpretations.
Not many have considered this could actually be about sex?
How the world is very materialistic now, and the outside is all that matters. So, thier big dick has women desperate for it.
Maybe daron sung about his big cock just to compensate for something... :-p -
I don't think this has as deep a meaning as many people are saying. The last comment was pretty smart but still too deep. I reckon the lyrics are wrote through a teens point of view (with the childish insults and the mention of tobacco or drugs).

I honestly think this song is about how dumb kids are these days, e.G kids actually go around and say their friends have small cocks and shit. (like it really matters when you're a kid). And like how everyone these days thinks they are better then everyone else. (my shit stinks much better than yours). The moral is your a kid you shouldn't be having sex anyways so why does it matter if you have a huge one or a small one...Yet.

One theory is the song is about two CEOs (Malakian & Tankian) bragging about their massive wealth to one another.
Most of their fans usually understand this song's message, but some think this song is an example of System of a Down having a bit of fun.
According to various 'interpreters' at the songmeanings.net site, it is commonly believed that this song refers to the whole Bush (or just the American government in general) vs Fidel Castro "battle of wits". The cigaro bit refers to the stereotype of cubans always smoking cigars (called "cigaro), whereas the propegators of all genocide thing refers to the American response to it. The opening lyrics of comparing penis sizes and feces stink levels is commonly believed to be referring to the belief that this battle between America and Cuba has become WAY too petty, and to show that pettiness they include the pettiest of all insults - "Yeah? Well, my penis is bigger!".
This song was leaked on to the internet as an "apetizer" for Mezmerize a few weeks prior to the release of the album
The song is also a B-side featured on the B.Y.O.B. Single. -
Hmmm, I had no idea that this song had anything to do with the military or corperate america, I have thought that it was about male ego's, and the universal saying my cock is much bigger then yours. But hey, I'm probably very off with that. I never really looked at the song as a political attack.

"My cock is much bigger than yours" & "My shit stinks much better than yours" actually is about America and its army. Both those lyrics just mean that America's army is bigger then yours, therefore we can just walk right in and do whatever we please. "My shit stinks much better then yours" just means, "Hey! We're better then you, so step aside".

I actually don't think this has anything to do with tobacco. I think that this song is talking about how all the people that are in charge of the country are basically just doing whatever is good for them and not caring about anyone else. Like in the line "burning through the world's resources then we turn and hide", so they use all that they want, then they bail out on it and don't take the blame. Also "cool in denial" means they never take the blame for the stupid things they do. I think this is partyl true, as majority of today's leaders are usually power hungry SOBs.
