The world is damned
"I will never feed off the evergreen luster of your heart all because we all live in the valley of the wasps"
I do not want to be like the other 'annoying insects' in society that use your emotions against you
"when they speak we can peak from the windows of their mouths"
When they talk we can see what they're really saying
"to see the land the women chant as they fly up to the sun."
we see the world for what it is, and we all want to leave. The "women" may refer to mother nature or nurturers.
"Books all say different things while people flap their yellow wings trying to soar by being a whore of life and almost everything"
Books all have different information we regard as "fact" while people try to suceed by attracting attention
"the sheep that ran off from the herd may be dead but now's a bird able to fly able to die able to fuck your mothers earth."
The people who broke free from their "cliques" and live by their own values are free from this damned world
"On the other side, on the other side, the other side,
Did you ever try to fly, Did you ever try to fly?
Have you ever wanted to die, you ever wanted to die?
Don't ever try to fly, don't ever try to fly,Don't ever try to fly, unless you leave your body on the other side, Never try to die, you ever try to die"
Have you ever wanted to leave this place? Don't worry, the afterlife will come and you will be free.
This song is basically about knowing the world is crap because of the flith that infest and that the afterlife will set us free. -
The sheep is definatly a bible refrance. If this sheep is dead then the shepard never came for him as the bible descirbes. Meaning we seperated from the group and the shepard, in this case could be god, never came for them.
I originaly thought this song was about suicide. But now I think it's about the armenian genoicde. -
This song is about doing drugs. You know what it does to you ,but people still do it. When Serj says have you ever try to fly, it means have you ever tried drugs. Then he says don't ever try to fly, means don't try drugs.

I think this song is about how humans take the earth for granted. "Cursed Earth" refers to how the earth is so fucked up.
