She's Like Heroin Lyrics

She's like heroin
Sipping through a little glass
I'm looking for some help
I need someone to save her ass

Chinese tricks in rooms
With ghost's of hooker girly dudes

Me and heroin, maybe we can make some cash selling
ASS
Selling ass...

I think the message of this song is clearly heroin fucks you up. The line "selling ass for heroin" could be refering to how heroin turns people into prostitutes. At the end of the song he says I'm looking for some help I need someone to save my ass. This could mean he is addicted to heroin or it could mean that he realized that he is really fucked up for writing such a strange song. All in all its a pretty sweet song. I have no idea what the fuck chinese tricks in rooms with ghosts of hooker girly dudes means... I don't think there really is a meaning

Its about human trafficking. "shes like heroin" she's worth some heroin. Selling people for heroin. "he wants nothing less but to wear a little dress"- they won't turn out to anything except being whores. Lets sell them. Human trafficking

I think that this song is about a guy who obviously needs to get his high from heroin so decides to sell his girlfriend's/sister's body to get it. He goes around trying to sell her to every sleaze in town trying to make a buck. In the end he ends up in deeper then he can handle and ends up worse off because of it. This song is entirely a satire song.

Actually-- "he wants nothing less but to wear a little dress" sounds to me like a referance to cross dressing, but I might be wrong.

This song makes reference to prostitution caused by the drug selling, in which, according to the songs, people go to prostitution to afford money to buy drugs, like heroin; as is said in the lyrics, "Me and heroin maybe we can make some cash / Selling ass / Selling ass for heroin".

I think the entire album is about a view of the U.S. from the outside. This song however, is really not directed so strongly at the U.S. This song puts me in the mind of a flop-house in the far east; an opium den or something. Nothing much to live for. Stuck in a deep rut. Relating everything in terms of familiar addiction.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

This song is about words you can and can't say on the radio. On the radio it will let you say every word but ass. Heroin, Hooker, anything but ass.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

the part about "he wants nothing less, but to wear a little dress" , and "chinese tricks in rooms with ghosts of hooker girly dudes" are about transvestites...at least that's the meaning that I took from it. oh and I like how at first he's trying to save her ass but then at then end he needs to save his own ass.

She's like heroin's meaning is pretty self explanitary once you look at the lyrics.

The whole song is about a prostitute who sells her body so that she can feed her drug addiction.

The other meaning of the song is that the prostitute is like heroin because once you have had sex with her you always want to come back.

System Of A Down are urging you to save prostitutes like her when they say "I need someone to save her ass."

If anyone can think of anything I have missed then add your own suggestions.
