It’s obviously about sex. I don’t think it’s about STDs. Probably about all that Wang Dang Sweet Poontang he was getting while on tour.

I’m a veterinarian and have known Ted for over forty years. I was told it’s about the fecal disease spread from lacerations caused by the dirty clawbeds.

it was the 70's before hiv was invented via the church and government colaberations...yadayada... to try n get an out of control generation that was in the view of the conservatives that these rebellious youths were gaining power and control of their own freedom, and thus loosing the ability to sway the majority to their "right" way of thinking. or something like that.
hell, with all the rebellion and hard work I put in as "my fare share" to represent my generation regaurding fighting the system, yet having to be better than most at what I do and who I am re core values, I ended up with the basic values I always had before, during, after that youthfull time period of put up and don't shut up and carry on wayward sons... or something like that.
anyhow...my son sees me as the old guy that doesn't understand...and he himself is rebelling...yet it seems to be against himself... and afraid of the system that has so carefully addressed all of the issues of those long forgotten days...(I couldn't forget them if I wanted to! I believed them when they said way back that that shit imbeds into your fat sells! I'm afraid every time I trim up that I'm guna go through an unplanned acid trip!! haha)...anyway...its just the younger ones jobs to question the authority so to be true to themselves...check n make sure the path is right... hope my boy doesnt fight too long or hard...and like b. turner...puts it in overdrive...4wheel drive. so to speak. dad.
ps. I love you son. -
Its not only about sex,its about him having sex with underage "Groupies"just the first line alone sets the tone"I Don't know where they come from, but they sure do come" Refers to all the young teen groupies that follow him around from Tour to tour.

Yes it is a sex song however it is also a coming of age or fame song as well. In the start of the song he talks about he hopes they are coming for him and he doesn't know how they do it but they sure do it good and he hopes they are doing it for free. Then towards the end of the song he either mastered making love or he became famous by makin a pussy purr with the stroke of his hand and now he has women coming after him and returns the favor of them doing it for free
-
The whole song refers to sex, plain and simple. I don't know if this site is edited or not, I don't know who comes to this site, younger children might view it. I respect the visitors of this site, so if you're realy interested, just listen to the lyrics close---it's self explanitory.
