Don't Stand So Close To Me Lyrics

Young teacher, the subject
Of schoolgirl fantasy
She wants him so badly
Knows what she wants to be
Inside her there's longing
This girl's an open page
Book marking - she's so close now
This girl is half his age

Don't stand, don't stand...

A teacher who recently found out a student has a crush on him. The feeling is mutual so the ‘don’t stand so close to me’ part is him trying to tell the student to leave him alone so that temptation doesn’t get the better of him. He never enters a relationship with said student and ends up quitting his job because of this.

I think this song is about a teenage girl who falls in love with her male schoolteacher. He finds out and they start to have an affair which gets discovered!

A song with the intent ''REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY'' to use, being in the mindset of a pervert that is a school teacher, sexually attracted to underage girls in his classroom. Back in the 70's and on there wore more sick and racist perverted teachers influencing some kids to be the teacher's pets. Especially in the public schools that was used to take advantage of the underage children that were demonically educated by the whole sick and stinking system. Of course this song has the intent ''REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY'' in the mindset of some of ''THE POLICE'' officers that were on the job camouflaging themselves behind ''The Power Of The Badge'' hiding their evil as lazy perverted stalkers with to much time on their so called clean hands drinking coffee and eating free donauts, where they had alot of time keeping their eyes on the asses of the underage. When being in school more made to be lost little chicks that were demonically educated by the teachers working for a perverted system, and when they were on the outside listening to many times to ''DON'T STAND SO CLOSE TO ME''. The more they wanted to get close to ''THE POLICE'' with evil intentions learned to be tempted. This is what education was and still may wanna teach in a Demoncratic sick society for the many children that were educated and taken advantage of by some sexually sick perverts working for ''THE EVIL INSTITUTIONS'' that should ''leave those kids alone''.

This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

This is a song that Sting wrote when he was a teacher. Just out of college, he taught a high school class, and the older girls would try to flirt with him. This is a song about how freaked out he was by this, hence the song's title.
