    The song is mainly about a boy and a girl deeply in love. But when summer was coming to an end and they had to split ways they both didn't want that to happen.

    I think this song is about two people deeply in love and wanting to take it a step farther and in doing so will "melt the sugar" I think this song is amazingly written and has a amazing message.

    This song is about a girl losing her virginity to a guy. In the chorus when he says "let's melt the sugar..And a sticky alter" he's saying if they have sex they're relationship won't be sweet like sugar anymore and the alter will be sticky at their wedding because they "melted the sugar".
