This song possibly has direct references to J.R.R. Tolkien's "The Lord of The Rings" and is from Sauron's point of view. His feelings regarding his master's defeat at the Battle of the Seven Armies is dealt with in the song, and it is claimed that, anticipating a repeat of the same, he intends to leave for lands distant from the conflict, not willing to be involved in this eternal strife. However, the song ends with him feeling that he cannot distance himself from his destiny and so he must "go back home".
