The Kids Are Alright Lyrics
-
Just saw The Who, 7/20/2017. Pete said introducing the song about being young and messed up, popped a pill, told the girl to piss off and she left him. And the lyric,"I know things would be a lot better for her", (without him). And, "I had plans, but her parents wound'nt let her". Basically about young love lost. This is a great song that I think meant a lot to Townshend and he uses it in Quadrophenia which is his story of what it was like for him and that generation growing up in 1960's London.
