Tool: Intermission Meaning
Intermission Lyrics

#1 top rated interpretation:Every track Tool puts on their records means something. This track is followed by “Jimmy”, a track about his mom getting paralyzed when he was eleven. “Intermission” is circus music transitioning into the next track, (yes, we all know that). However, the reason it is circus music is because it’s music an eleven year old child would find entertaining. As the transition unfolds it shows you the major change Maynard endured at the age of eleven.

Being bored and knowing you can sync any music to any movie I synced this album to 2001 A Space Odyssey. I started stinkfist right when the astronauts hear the "noise" in their helmets when on the moon. And coincidentally when intermission starts, so does the intermission in the movie.

Intermission n jimmy, just part 1 n 2 ... ain't it??? :)
-
I see is at yes an intermission from all the deepness of there songs and just to have time to think like a brake for digestion but it is just an intro into the next song and the guy with tada at the end i think your just over anaylising it even though the number 11 is segnifigant because thats the age he was when his mother became paralised.

It's just music man. I don't think it has a meaning. Except to make you smile every time you hear it because its completely not what youd expect from Tool. But its a mean song none the less!
