Yeah Yeah Yeahs: Turn Into Meaning
Turn Into Lyrics
On the car ride down
I hear it in my head real low
Turn into
The only thing I ever--
Turn into
Hope I do
Turn into you
I know, what I know, I know
That girl you found
Keeps that kind of window...

I think the song I'd about love gone sour... the guy cheated and is now with the other women. Karen doesn't open up easily and he didn't have the patience to wait hence he left but in the end what he really needs is the type of love Karen can give but it's too late for that their relationship is over and she won't let him back in to be one with her... so now Karen will be the only one he ever knows... no matter what relationship he is in no one can full the space that Karen filled in him... but she isn't just talking about him she is closed off and wasn't open with him when she had the chance too.. but know she is too hurt to b let him in because he cheated on her with this other women who is not as easy to be with... I think that's why it states she keeps that kind of window closed... whatever Karen and him was into that woman isn't and never will be into and he might not be able to find that again hence the turn into what you ever known
