The struggles of a band wanting to make it and all the things that come along the way of that. It's like the title says. It ain't easy trying to be a rock and roll star. There's a lot of crap you have to go through.

It's a bit obvious really, they are singing about how hard the rock n' roll life is and trying to get to the top, they sing this extremely well though!
