Adele: Send My Love (To Your New Lover) Meaning
Song Released: 2015
Send My Love (To Your New Lover) Lyrics
This was all you, none of it me
You put your hands on, on my body and told me
You told me you were ready
For the big one, for the big jump
I'd be your last love everlasting you and me
That was what you told...

I think the song is about a broken relationship. And one is finding hard to move on because of guilt. The other knows about this and feel bad but knew they had to let go of the past, they need grow cox they "ain't kids no more"
-
I know this is probably not what most people think of the song, but here is how I THOUGHT the meaning was in 5th grade:
There was one line that stood out to me, “we both know we ain’t kids no more” this to me at the time was telling my 5th grade self that I needed to move on from my puppy crushes from kinder-4th. At the time, I had a crush on someone and he liked me. I thought the meaning was that it’s time for us to BE something and not just be little kids who liked each other and that we needed to date. Silly right? Now, I am 13 and that line is still my favorite. I now take the line as it’s time to let go of the perfect life we thought it would be. No more simple love. I still know the kid, we did date, but he is gay and I am straight. Singing that now I think, we aren’t in 5th grade. In a year we are gonna be in high school, it’s time to let go of us. -
I think this is about saying we need to grow up, we're over and need to get over it. She is better, send my love to her. You didn't treat me well, treat her better.

I think that it is about a girl who dated a guy but realized she had much better things to do than date a guy like him. Its her telling him to treat his new lover better, basically! I love the beat of this song. Its so great!

I think this song is about a gal who would like his ex to treat his new gf better

I think this song is about a gal who wishes her ex to treat his new love fair and that she has moved on to better things.
