   Adele's relationship has ended all of a sudden, she didn't expect it at all. These words exemplify it accurately:

   She is profusely in love with him and doesn't accept the fact he has left her.
   She thinks the whole break-up can be her own fault "I know I have a fickle heart and a bitterness

   She wants that man to come back cause he is the man he is really into.

   Has anyone here seen Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? I know that the songs on this album were inspired by a break up of hers, so I doubt it's based on the movie, but it fits all too well to just be a coincidence.

   I think this breakup took her by suprise. She wasnt expecting him to be gone and he didnt even say goodbye when he left. She was left wondering what actually went wrong, the more she does the more confused she gets because only he can answer that particular question. She acknowledges that she's not perfect (I know I have a fickle heart/ and a bitterness/ and a wondering eye and a heaviness in my head) but hopes he can remember her and how much he loves/loved her and come back to her.
   
   If anyone knows about the 5 stages of grief theyl agree that the 5 stages are evident in the songs on the album 21. This song in particular is portraying Stage 3 of grief - Bargaining.

    I think this song is about people that always take things for granted in life. After the relationship gone, the emptiness feeling they can't deny. Especially for their first crush and soulmate destined.

    I think that this song means that she really trusted her boyfriend to love her, but saw that he wasn't happy, so let him go. She hoped that her ex would relize her sacrifice for him, and come back to her.

    he left her all alone, she wasn't aware of the situation, i am in exactly the same situation been crying for a month, you love them so much and just can't believe that it's so easy for them to just move on not even think of u at all but you can't help but wait for them to finally decide, while it makes u sound desperate you don't care you love him and will do anything for him back, but you don't hear anything
