Alexander: Truth Meaning
Truth Lyrics
-
It's a spiritual awakening. "Truth is I never shook my shadow (shadow self)...
In order to successfully complete it, you must first accept all of the negative traits (darkness) to understand and let go of toxic coping mechanism you adapted to survive. To then turn into (light)
The lyrics goes, "every lie in the world comes from dividing" a lot of people say they hear "every lie in
the world comes from the 'bible'"

I think at the beginning of the song hes referring to war. And how they control you as a solider "put me back behind the fence with the cattle" then also saying "put me on the front line leave me with a dumb mind, with no defences but ur defences" saying they have no defence mentally their only defence is their weapons. "All my enemies are turning into my teachers" along with the whole darkness is shinning part, is actually ideas taken from the bible. I remember hearing a verse that was very similar once! Also "whats yours or mine when everythings shinning" must mean theres so much good in the world and we just need to realize and share it all! Its not ment for only 1 person. Basically this song is saying how theirs so many "lenses" into what is the truth and how people penetrate it, but all alexander wants is to love. People say hes not but all hes trying to do is love. Its a very deep song i could go on forever about it. But this is all i can think of on the top of my head
