All That Remains: Two Weeks Meaning
Two Weeks Lyrics
and you neglected I called you out don't please
I said we're stronger than this now
you resurrected mistakes years past it seemed
and they exist to still haunt you
and still you feel like the loneliness
is better replaced by...

a relationship where the girl had a drug addiction. she says she wants to get clean. she had personality disorders/mental illness. he's trying but she needs a lot. she's fragile in a way and she breaks at the smallest things by WAY overthinking them. and runs off on a binge to numb herself. better to be dead inside than feel the emotional pain. she lies about it every time, but he knows, he doesn't judge, he wants to help, he loves her, but he can't trust her.
this song like perfectly describes me. none of the guys I dated were so genuine but I def was that girl. -
Couldn’t it be a new love, and she is afraid of her past that she has lived and is scared of something she sees in him that reminds her of abandonment . She wanted to give him everything but he didn’t respond in the way she needed, and she left because she couldn’t get hurt again because she was falling for him. She would rather be alone than know or experience the abandonment she had felt in the past.

This is what it's like when you are in a relationship with someone who has borderline personality disorder. The people love each other in the relationship, but because of things he's done in the past, she's afraid to get hurt again. She can't get over it. She's so afraid it's going to happen again and she's reliving it. She doesn't know how to trust again. She causes the thing she fears the most, that he leaves.

I think its about a band missing (for two weeks) and they died, the video depicts a woman who is reading a news paper clipping about the band and "needs to know" and as the band shows up on the tv but not in real life, you can see a shocked look on her face, and she walks out and reaches out to the singer of the band as they dissappear

I believe the opposite he broke up with her because of constant arguing. She begs him to stay because she feels it's better to fight then be alone ... He loves her but it will never work.

i believe this song is a song of heartbreak, a man loves the women to death, its the ideal love to have for someone, and she loves him to, but she is confused because she has been hurt by him in the past, she cant overcome the fact that she has been hurt by him so she stands in the way of them being together once again, they both love eachother, but theyre confused beyond beliefs and dont know what to do, two weeks pass by and they still arent together but dwell on the thoughts of eachother all the time.<3

I believe this is about a girl and a guy who are fighting about mistakes that the guy has made in the past that really hurt her and that she cant fully get over. "and you neglected I called you out don't please
I said we're stronger than this now
You feared of phantoms and none exist but you, you still saw fit to destroy it" right here he's saying that she's scared of something that isn't there. he isn't going to hurt her, but she refuses to believe him. He is begging her for her trust again but she cant fully give it to him. She is scared that he will repeat his past mistakes and she will be hurt all over again in which she is the phantom, getting in the way of their relationship because she is stuck in the past like he accuses her of being. (she's scared of what is to come in their relationship) so she believes that it says "still clearly i can hear you say don't leave don't give up on me
two weeks and you ran away" Showing how desperate she wants to be loved and not be left, and showing her insecurity she pushes him away instead of facing the real obstacle : herself. -
To me it's a deep song of heart break im going through one with my ex I still love her with everything I have but she's in love with another guy and this seems like to me the arguement we had about if we should get back together or not and that it also reminds me of another girl I was talking to I treated her amazing like a princess then one day she gave up on me and I was planing to ask her out the next day bc I was supossed to go see her so this song really gets to me
-
I think it's about drugs. She disappeared for 2 weeks getting high and is blaming him for not being there for her. He says he swears he never gave up on her.

I believe this is about a girl and a guy who get in a fight. and she is bringing up past events. and that she's scared of what is to come in their relationship, so she believes that it's better to be alone then to get hurt. as well that she sabotages their relationship out of fear.it says "still clearly i can hear you say
don't leave don't give up on me
two weeks and you ran away" Showing how desperate she wants to be loved and not be left, and showing her insecurity is so much that she'd rather hurt him then be hurt herself. "and you neglected I called you out don't please
I said we're stronger than this now
You feared of phantoms and none exist but you
you still saw fit to destroy it" right here he's saying that she's scared of something that isn't there. he isn't going to hurt her, but she refuses to believe him. -
