    Countless people hate Yoko Ono, because they believe she's responsible for breaking up the Beatles.

    Barenaked Ladies looked at Yoko Ono and came to a different opinion. Even IF Yoko was responsible for getting John Lennon to leave the Beatles, they're saying... well, isn't it sort of wonderful that John met someone he loved so much he'd be willing to walk away from the Greatest Show on Earth?

    Don't we ALL wish there was someone in our lives we love so much that we'd give up ANYTHING to be with her (or him)?

    The narrator of this song is telling his girl, "I want to love YOU that much. I want to love you so much that, like John Lennon, I'd gladly give up ANYTHING for your sake."
