Black Eyed Peas: Ring-a-LIng Meaning
Ring-a-LIng Lyrics
-
I think it means the man is asking for sex because ding a ling means the penis is going up and down.
-
I think that this song is basically about sex. It says "cause if I'm calling at two in the morning, at two in the morning it only means one thing." and "if my phone goes Ring - a - ling then the girls want DING A LING" I think you can figure out what that means.
-
This song is about the phone ringing, basically being in contact with the one you love. Based on the lyrics it sounds as if the realationship is on and off and the girl calls him but he yet she resists him in person. The big idea of this song might be that over phones or the Internet you can love someone more than in person. At the end of the son they sum it up by singing "if your calling in four in the morning it only means one thing.... Booty call, booty call" so that means the guy believes the girl has let go and no longer wants the realionship & this time she accidentally butt dialled him. This is a rough translation but I believe it means it's easier to love over the phone or Internet than in person.
