Black Tide: That Fire Meaning
Song Released: 2011
That Fire Lyrics
I tell you all the things you wanna hear
You ramble on about how I'm that - fire!
So after all this time you're still so blind
Thought I was yours
You must have gone and lost your mind
I took it all, there's nothing...

I first heard this song on the NHL 12 soundtrack. The video has lots of chicks but the lead vocalist, Gabriel, chooses one. "I'll tell you all the things you wanna hear", if a man is well-packaged he'll leave her wanting more... Well, this is my interpretation of it.
Cheers!...for beers :) -
I believe this song is saying how well a person is "playing" the other person in a relationship. They have them fooled in thinking that they are the best because they are told "everything they want to hear", therefore being their "fire". BUT, if that person knew how well they were getting played they would see a different "fire" about that person because they have successfully played a mastermind in the relationship.

This song basically means that someone thinks your this type of person but your not. Ex: You already have a bf or gf but your still seeing and talking to other boys/girls. In other words sorta cheating sorta not, but its a good song catchy intro that plays out throughout the song.
