Bon Jovi - Livin' on a Prayer Meaning
Song Released: 1986
Livin' on a Prayer Lyrics
Union's been strike
He's down on his luck, its tough
So tough
Gina works the diner all day
Working for her man
She brings home her pay for love
She says we've got to hold on to what
we got, it doesn't...
-
It is basically what it says, Tommy and Gina's life as a couple. They have been struggling, but they finally realized that at least they have each other, no matter what. I loooooooooooove Bon Jovi, don't you? Try listening to his song, Roller Coaster.

I think this song is to be in the prayer to be out of music and so, I’m very glad to recording that if someone give me a demo tapes. Then I would starting to jamming out. But we’ve got some different songs than our favorite influences. I liked Madonna, and Miley Cyrus, they’re my top 10 friends, then I liked Britney Spears, and Justin Bieber.
-
I think basically this song to me talks about a couple, in a not so well economically doing well country, and they are struggling to make ends meet, the woman sometimes feels like giving up but the guy assures her that with love, faith and believe in what they have, they will make it through!
-
I hear it's about a poor couple struggling to make a living. They have their love and faith and they'll make it!
But it maybe also about lovers who can't be together yet because of some difficulties. They pray to overcome all that.
Anyway, it's all about love and faith conquering all. Love Bon Jovi for such inspiring songs!=)
