Brand New: Tautou Meaning
Tautou Lyrics
i'm burning like a bridge for your body.
i'm sinking like a stone in the sea.
i'm burning like a bridge for your body.
i'm sinking like a stone in the sea.
i'm burning like a bridge for your body...
-
I believe the song is about emotions. "I'm sinking like a stone in the sea" is obviously a simile. whomever is singing this song is represented as the stone, the emotions the 'stone' is going through are probably very deep emotions, so they are represented as the sea.
"I'm burning like a bridge for your body" is another simile. Just by my guess, whomever is singing is either in tragic need of the person's body; in extreme pain for the person's body; or they are slowly falling apart because they are in need for the person's body.
These are just some thoughts on the song as I play it over & over, thinking deep about the songs lyrics. My interpretation could be completely wrong. -
