Growin' Up Lyrics
I combed my hair till it was just right and commanded the night brigade
I was open to pain and crossed by the rain and I walked on a crooked crutch
I strolled all alone through a fallout...

Great rebellion song pure and simple. Wonderful imagery. "The flag of piracy flew from my mast," "I broke all the rules, strafed my old high school," and, of course, " when they said, "Come down," I threw up." Bruce took a request sign from my 10 year old daughter at a Giants Stadium show 5 years ago and played this song for her. "Talked" to her and everything..."you're 10...that means that this song was written...1/4 of a century before you were born!" Had her picture up on the screen. Real highlight for a big Springsteen fan.
