Songs about Memories

Some of you older folks might ask, "What memories? It's all I can do to find my car keys!" Memories raise a lot of philosophical questions: If you lose all your memories, are you still the same person? If not, then does that mean that our memories make us who we are?

These are mostly sentimental songs about the past, usually personal stories in the singer's life or characters they portray. Some are sweet, some are sour, most are bittersweet reminiscences of past loves lost and old battles decided. They're fun to reflect on, but be careful not to get lost in the past. You just might forget to find your way back to the present!
