Just Like Jesse James Lyrics
-
I think the song is about a guy she's knows and knows how he is. And she wants to see what his loaded gun is made of,(as she says in the song). To see what all the hype is and to see if he can handle her. So come on baby, tell me I'm wrong, lol thanks for listening to my opinion!!

A guy who is used to women falling for him easily finally meets his match and now she will be the one to break his heart
-
My interpretation is that she’s seeing some player who doesn’t want to settle down with one woman so even though they have some serious chemistry she just can’t trust him because he’s a womanizer... He met his match she sees right through him and moves on without him just like Sandra Bullock left Jesse James... Men that are players don’t deserve good hearted women!
-
He struts around acting tough around his friends. Saying that he won't settle down with one woman, but she finally wins him over. He doesn't want to commit to her but then when it's all said and done he gives in because he is inlove with her. She never gives up "Honey you met your match tonight". And going down in flames is just a metaphor. He's done. Who is he kidding. I love thos song. It gives me hope. ❤

It's about a player getting played
-
A hot, tough and sexy man who gets his way with the ladies meets his match. She wants him and he wants her.
-
A women finally standing up to an abusive man (boyfriend, partner) by finally fighting back he's going to "go down in flames, just like Jesse James" referring to outlaw cowboy Jesse James and his undoing.
