    It's talking about a friendship between a girl and a guy and the guy wants to end the friendship, but Chris Young even sings,"But before you set your mind on leaving you really oughta stop and think." That part of the song's talking about how the guy needs to stop and think about the girl's feelings.

    I think the song is about a man that loves a woman, but cant take the heat of the fighting any longer. Although he is frusterated, he can't leave her if he can't let her go. It's all about the road he doesn't want to go down.
