I like think it's about getting away. Leaving the city. Leaving the hustle and bustle of modern society and the infectious chaos it creates. Escaping society and with it leaving all the trivially mindless day to day social worries of the common man in order to be rid people. To escape into the forest and to live with Mother Nature, to be purified of civilization's toxic poison of society.
I know it's not about this, and there's some background relating to alexisonfire but I prefer to think of it my way. Brings me peace and hope that one day I may also escape.
