Collective Soul: The World I Know Meaning
The World I Know Lyrics
-
About the ups and downs of life when it becomes doubtful and numb, but still hopeful in the search to find a reason going to New York City. Caught by depression in ''the dark night of the soul'',WHEN the ''Heavenly World'' in the good words of God that was learned to live by with Hyms of Love to comfort a righteous upbringing in a individual that ''CLASHED'' against ''the world you [I] know'' that has been earthly real, bleeding in pain with all the people in New York City where time began to stand still between the TWO EXTREMES that are confusing in chaos ''TO FUSE'' the two in easing the mind ''INTO ONE'' to realize that life is beautiful to lose our pity in compassion for a newfound city in ''The World I Know'' that is really alive and well, not to jump to any conclusions, thinking there is a end when worlds collide in our mind for only the COLLECTIVE SOUL that wants to come together again in our heart.

When your too close to your problems and drama, you feel that no one cares. All you see is your own shade of grey. Let go of your self centeredness long enough to accept the love and beauty that is all around us. When we are love based there is no room for self pity. :-)

This World that we know can be cruel, but are we listening to hymns of offering? Focus on the negative, and you my friend will struggle. When you are standing on high, know that love is gathering below to try and catch you and to care for you.
