Cradle Of Filth: From the Cradle to Enslave Meaning
From the Cradle to Enslave Lyrics
Have despoiled our common grave
Now what necrophagous Second Coming backs
From the cradle to enslave?
Sickle constellations
Stud the belts that welt the sky
Whilst the bitter winter moon
Prowls...

This song is definitely about Dani challenging fate and saying what the fuck is everyone on about...
I think this song is really deep with its meaning and therefore hard to interpret, but if you look closely you can see that what he is trying to say is so true, and he makes a very valid point.
the lines "And what use are prayers to that god?
As devils bay concensus for the space to piss
On your smouldering faith
And the mouldering face
Of this world long a paradise lost" ... are basically saying that no matter what you do (pray) it won't do you any good because God will punish you if you have done wrong and that we as humans have created this world that closes us in and restricts us.
a very deep song indeed. -
To me, this song is about Dani challenging the idea of Fate. He challenges the zodiac, saying that if the stars control our fate... Then what will happen when the stars burn out? and he obviously challenges various parts of the bible. According to various interpretations of the Bible, Revelations predicts the End of Days to be very soon to now. He's saying that if it is coming, he knows that he and the girl will be responsible. "I see the serpentine in your eyes, the nature of the beast as revelations arrive."
He says when he's punished in Hell, the angels will do nothing but laugh and sing. No remorse. Basically just a Fuck Fate song.
