Someday Never Comes Lyrics
For there were many things I didn't know.
And Daddy always smiled; took me by the hand,
Sayin', "Someday you'll understand."
CHORUS:
Well, I'm here to tell you now each and ev'ry mother's...
-
This is an increibly sad song about a man whose father left him and his mother when he was a child... a man who ended up doing the same thing to his own son and his son's mother. His father told him that someday he would understand and even though he realizes that understanding never really comes, he tells his own son the same thing.
