True Colors Lyrics
Don't be discouraged
Oh I realize
Its hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
And the darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small
But I see your true colors
Shining...

#2 top rated interpretation:I can't believe no one wrote anything about this song! It's fantastic! I don't like Cyndi Lauper's at all but the song is lovely! I listen to a version of this song sung by lyssa Reid, Pierre Bouvier, Fefe Dobson, Lights, Jacob Hoggard, Kardinal Offishall and Walk Off the Earth, all of them are singing together to show that they're against bullying! It's way better then the original (in my opinion).
This song is about showing people who you really are and showing your "true colours", in other words, your true self! When I think of this song, I think about bullying.People get bullied because they're "different".This song shows that it's ok to be different and to be yourself!Someone will love you the way you are! Don't be afraid of what others will think of you and be yourself! -

I love this song to sing for music and songs that song goes with the music and sing it to my music and songs and so I wanted to wish you a song and I played it on my iPad

If you look closely at the lyrics you’ll see that may have a darker meaning for example “if this world makes you crazy and you’ve taken all you can bear you call me up because you know I’ll be there” could represent depression
