Crush Lyrics
Crazy, how you, make it all alright love.

1TOP RATED
#1 top rated interpretation:By Dave's own admission on VH1 Storytellers some years ago, this song is entirely about worshiping women.
-
It’s about making love with abandon. Every line in this song is about him giving up his reality, under her influence, to have a mind-bending experience. Dancing has long been a euphemism for sex, and right side up or upside down is what it feels to be “head over heels” with someone. Just like with Crash Into Me though, it’s hard to tell if this is a fantasy scenario. At the end of the song he switched to future tense, like the encounter and their passion hasn’t realized yet, but he is deeply engaged either way. I f*ing love this song.

"Oh Jeanne how you Crush me"
This is a interpretation of everything love has to offer.
Love, before with lust, and after the "Crush me, how it, feels so good" "Lovely Lady"
To truly love someone with every ounce of your being feels so nice, that beatiful girl who has turned into a beautiful woman "lovely lady" before and after a relationship. Still feeling that same love you have had before "is this real or am i dreaming" could after all these years i still be so madly truly in love with you like no time has ever passed by.
Truly adding Tim Reynolds does this song so much for the truly eerie feeling that love does conquer all. -
God the jazz in this song literally makes me shiver, because it is such a powerful and strong accord about how true love feels.
The song is a cornerstone of how love can be described, and definitely defines how it should feel if you are in true love with your partner. -
This interpretation has been marked as poor. view anyway

on VH1 Storytellers he says, "This song is about, the fun part of love. It's about worship of women. My girl friend's head was floating above me when I was writting this song."
-
This song is about a "wedding night" just listen.....
-
I think its before the LOVE. Its the obession, the I love you "right now" feeling with that first flush of infatuation. I may be jaded but I don't believe the the feelings expressed in this song can be continued past the 3rd date.
-
This is about the fun part of love and how in the begining everything is so magical. You realize in the simple moments like "sitting, smoking and feeling high" that you love this person. When you are together "dancing on the ground" you are so unaware of your surroundings that you don't know whether you are upside down or ride side up. Love makes you feel like you are in a dream becuase you are so happy. It is about the worship of your love and how you would do anything for them. Love just makes life better and makes you look at the world in a new perspective.
-
Crush is about the chase of love. Its about being so in love you are unaware whether you are right side up or upside down. Dancing around happy and wondering whether it is a dream or if it is real.
