Jimi Thing Lyrics

Lately I’ve been feeling low
A remedy is what I’m seeking
I take a taste of what’s mellow
Come away to something better
What I want is what I’ve not got
And what I need
Is all around me
Reaching searching never stop
And I’ll say...

If...

In addition, I think that maybe he has realized that the things he wants in his life are good. But he also realizes that everything he needs are things around him like his family and friends and things that he already has. He doesn't take anything for granted.

This last guy is way off. Although DMB is known for their toking anthems Jimi Thing is not about that. Jimi Thing is simply about one big sexual escapade. If you look at the lyrics it's quite obvious; I mean in the first verse when he says, "I take a taste of what's below / Come away to something better", I wonder what he's talking about(Hmmmmmmm). Also, if you didn't already know, a jimi thing is slang for a condom; so, in the bridge when he says, "Sometimes a Jimi Thing slides my way and keeps me swinging / I'd like to show you what's inside", its not difficult to derive to meaning. Sure, the guy has a point when there is a brief reference to smoking and getting high, but that is just one point that has some sort of referal to getting high. That's my interpretation and if someone thinks that it's wrong, then they're wrong. Thank you.

The entire song is about smoking. It's main focuss is on getting high and feeling good for awhile.
