Demi Lovato: Fix a Heart Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Fix a Heart Lyrics
I only want the best for you
And if I'm not the best then you're stuck
I try to sever ties and I ended up with wounds to bind
Like you're pouring salt in my cuts
And I just ran out of bandaids
I don't...
-
I think the songs about a heart getting broken. And, she wants it to work out but all the things that were happening to her, she let it slide. She still had band-aids at this time. It came to a point where she was being tempted by the guy and she didn't wanna hear anymore of the bullshit. Her heart was covered with bandaids and now nothing can fix fit.

this song is about Demi & her struggles with cutting herself.. she talks about running out of bandaids which means she ran out of excuses to get help with her problems.. she also talks about bandaging the damages but the pain & hurt is still going to be there..

it is about... demi lovato and here etting disorder.Which that caused her cutting herself. Also thats why the lyric "like your pouring salt on my cuts. Well this is my interpretation

Same as Demi I struggeld with the same issues for a long time, so my opinion about the song is a little diffrent. I guess, that the song describes her feelings after rehab. Everyone expects her to be okay because she got therapy. *But I just ran out of bandades I dont even know where to start* means that she gets better with her issues but that she has still a long way to go and doesnt really know how to make it. I think the song is dedicated to a new love in her life who might know about her past probelms but doesnt really understand what she still has to face everyday. He wants to help her and try to fix her, wants her to be 'normal' again but she tries to say with this song that no matter how hard everyone and herself as well will try to make everything okay it wont ever be as it was and that no one really can fix her heart again. So the song is like an explantion about how she feels and how she feels about all the reactions from the people who tink she is alright
-
It is about how she tried to cover up a big problem and noticed " you can bamdage the dammage but you cant fix a heart" in other words, you can cover up a little problem but when you do it magnafies into a huge one that you cant hide.
-
her line "You must be a miracle-worker
Swearing up and down
You can fix what's been broken, yeah
Please don't get my hopes up
No, no, baby, tell me how could you be so cruel" is her saying that the doctors etc in rehab told her that they will fix her problems and she'll be alright after but she's saying that her problems did get fix but not her heart
