Demi Lovato: Really Don't Care Meaning
Song Released: 2014
Really Don't Care Lyrics
You started messing with my head until I hit a wall
Maybe I should've known, maybe I should've known
That you would walk, you would walk out the door, hey!
Said we were done, then...

#1 top rated interpretation:I think she just doesn't really care.

2TOP RATED
#2 top rated interpretation:I think that this song is about a girl who has finally gotten over her ex-boyfriend and has gotten her confidence back. She doesn't care what he does, says, or thinks. She doesn't care about what happened in the past anymore. She has moved on 110%.

3TOP RATED
#3 top rated interpretation:I believe that this song is about Demi's former best friend, Selena Gomez. In the lyrics she says, "even if the stars and moon collide, I never want you back into my life." Which I think is a reference to her old song "Two Worlds Collide" which was dedicated and made for Selena. Now she just flipped that song around and singing it in the opposite way. Although, I hope the song isn't for her because Delena is my otp

This song is totally about Demi getting over her relationship with Joe Jonas! I don't really know the whole story behind the drama/breakup but it totally makes the most sense. People are saying it's about Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato and I totally get that but I think it is more about a past romantic relationship. Plus Lloyd said in her rap "Hey Demi you picked the wrong lover,
Shoulda picked that one is cuter than the other". She probably means that she should have picked Nick Jonas because he's cuter (her words not mine). Just my two cents!

Well. She hit a wall with this guy. This guy left her for another girl, Demi admits that she should have known. But Demi talked and whispered some bad stuff around about this guy. And the girl that her ex was with now left him. She doesn't care anymore. If she ever sees him again she will flip him off (When I see you on the street I won't be running scared, I'll walk right up to you a put one finger in the air) So he understands. And no matter what happens (i.e. the stars and moon collide) she will never want him back. Cher tells her that she should have known better. Now SHE REALLY DOESN'T CARE
-
List
She doesn't want him back
She hates him
She kicked him to the curb
And took a pic.
SHE DOESN"T CARE -
It's not about Delena! Cher Lloyd's verse is about a guy, and she makes fun of Demi for "tryna be a hipster," obviously meaning Demi should've known better--something Demi says too: "I guess I should've known." But the meaning of the song is clear: I really don't care.
-
She is trying to say she doesn't care if he is rich or poor she still wouldn't want him back.

I think this song is about Joe, because after he left her, he dated Ashley Green! But it's just my point of vue. Kisses =)
