The song is about a person experiencing a panic attack, describing symptoms such as being terrified, restless, and nervous. The intro of the song starts off with the person starting to have a panic attack when there are no instruments present except for the bass guitar, it then picks up to the full band playing a fast and strong sounding music to try to make the audience fell like they are the one experiencing the panic attack. With the music and the lyrics, the audience can almost fell like they are experiencing a panic attack.

Obviously about a panic attack of sorts..........however it seems to be about him not really "with himself", and becoming anxious and stressed as a result.
