    There is absolutely no meaning to this song at all. It's just a bunch of nonsense that the band wrote, the Barbarella reference is simply an homage to Professor Duran in the movie "Barbarella" where the band got its name.

    If you pay attention, different aspects of the consumer electronics industry show through in this song. For example,
    "I knew when I first saw you on the showroom floor, you were made for me." this happens all the time in electronics stores. You see something awesome and you buy it.
    It is a song likening gorgeous electronic devices to feminine beauty.
