This song is about the struggle to get back into life after a tragic event. It isn't necessarily about love, but the struggle to get it whilst trying to prove yourself. Funny thing about this song, in the music video, robert downey jr lip-syncs this song, and he actually came back out of rehab. It was perfect for him.
