I think this song is about how maybe someone amy knew was abused, by her boyfriend, whom she also knew. And maybe ended up killing her? Well that's what I think when she says

also from the chorus
"we all live
we all die
that does not begin to justify you"
i think that one is pretty self explanitory. Well, that's my interpretation anyway.
