    To me, this song is about two people that knew each other but now belong to completely different worlds. She's a girl who is popular and beautiful. He's the kind of guy her crowd looks down on.
    He's in love with her. He would do anything for her. She wants him to, but she pretends she doesn't. He knows she wants him, even though he's nothing like the guys from her world. When they're alone or when he looks in her eyes and he touches her, he can feel how much she really wants him, but she's do cold... fighting her desire. When they're around other people and he sees her, he tries to get her to look in his eyes, it's so obvious to him how she really feels... He tries to reach her, to get her to accept him, even though he's different...He doesn't look like they do, he doesn't love like they do... He's better than they are, he loves her more than they ever could, He would die for her, but she's so afraid of what people will think of her being with him that she pretends she doesn't want him. But he longs for her and waits, hoping he can reach her.
