   I see it as a love story where two people love each other, but undergo hardships. In the chorus, the lyrics show immense love, using lines such as “My sanctuary, you’re holy to me.”
   In the aspect of “hardships”, the lines “Take the pain, make it billboard big then swallow it for me,” show one lover's experience of well, pain. The lines “Got a few more fake friends, and it’s getting hard to know what's real,” shows the distrust of the lover, among other things.
