Never Be Like You Lyrics

#1 top rated interpretation:I think this song means that either a friend, family member, significant other has hurt you or you hurt them in a way.'now I fucked up and I'm missing you'. You messed up somehow and now you're missing them. 'I made a mistake, please, just look me in my face, tell me everything's okay' You want them to forgive you bc you still love them even tho you hurt them or they hurt you and you'll never be like them bc you see them being perfect in your eyes. You're asking them to forgive you of your sins that you did to them and they're falling on their/your knees begging for forgiveness.

Well with the lyrics and the title it's obvious about a relationship I think it's someone she loves and honors and puts on a pedastoll and she has to airways apologize and make that person feel happy but that person doesn't really care about her the way she thinks and that's why she's saying she's only human and that she'll never be like that person..

It is someone who fucked up or hurt someone and they are begging for forgiveness , but they have moved on
-
I think she is asking her significant other if he is willing to do any and everything even if it hurts him all for love. And also would he trust her to help and guide him through everything because they love each other.

I believe the song is a statement to God our spiritual creator. That we, in the flesh can never be like him because of the material world and its state of being. Our god/spiritual state isn't corruptible as our material/physical state. Another words, in this material state it is always needs and wants, while in the god state you already have. Perfection is in the God state. Perfection is absent in the material state.
