   To me, the song is about all of us. Jesus said it's about loving one another, getting our hearts off safe. We're so cruel to each other it's incredible how we miss that it would all be meaningless with no one to share the light of the moon with. We are everything we need. His desire is for us to live as one because we are one, created from the same handfull of dirt. The gift and the completion is the realization of this. We do belong together even if we haven't yet figured out how to be together. We should try to live the way of which He speaks. The greatest of these is love.

   I think it's about soul mates. When he's talking about "independent strength," I think he's describing two separate individuals who perhaps have met, but life has kept them from being together. They may be apart even for quite some time, but they can--in fact, must--finally find one another and complete each other. He sings, "Done, if we were undone...finished, if we were incomplete...as one, we are everything." In other words, in this world, they need only one thing to make them whole, and that is each other. When he says, "wedded by the planet force, we have all been spoken for," I think it means we've been spoken for in the sense that before we've even met them, there's one person out there designed to complete us. I think the most beautiful line in the song is, "still, we've got our hearts on safe." I think what he's saying is, we may find ourselves drifting apart from the person we're meant to be with, and we may even begin to think we'll spend our lives with someone else, but something will always hold us back, & will save us for our one and only...because somewhere deep within, we know our hearts belong to our soul mate.

   It's about a girl who leave on tour and he miss her but he keep having a lot of memories and the memories would not go away and he knows her and she knows him and she likes him for him and he likes her for her and she change him but when she leave and he back to him self and she wrote in her dairy that me and him would get back together again and something when she lonely and he hope she would find this gift and she did its him and they together again
