Glee Cast: Get it Right Meaning
Song Released: 2011
Get it Right Lyrics
Away from this ship goin' under
Just tryin' to help, hurt everyone else
Now I feel the weight of the world is
On my shoulders
What can you do when your good isn't good enough?
When all that you touch...

I had a bit of a vibe relating to Finn and how she keeps messing things up with him. First time when she chose jessie over Finn and then when she screwed up making out with Puck. I feel like there was a side to it, about her never getting it right with Finn and how she makes a mess of situations.
-
I can relate... my parents want me to be perfect and I feel like I keep messing everything up. ;-; She feels like she needs to be perfect.
-
She always thinks she is messing everything up and peaople only appreciate her singing not her as a person. i can relate to that because i feel like i mess up things a lot. My "friends" want me out of the "group" and they asked one person to kick me out of the group but she refused because she still likes me as a friend. But i wonder what can i do to get it right. i have no idea why they hate me.I tell myself that i should just keep trying but ' When all that you touch tumbles down' I just want to say screw yall. But i cant let go you know what i mean?

I think that Rachel wrote the song in a sad way, sort of like she's in love with Finn and all and she'll do anything for him, but her best intentions are messed up and she can't get it right, and Finn really doesn't care, has Quinn for his love and with the songs, he realizes how amazing Rachel is. But in result, she really thinks that she should just move on.
-
Its a really simple basis for her life in the show. How she's always trying to do what she thinks is best for Finn, herself and the Glee Club but she always ends up messing things up for everyone and making them all pretty much hate her for it. Its really kinda sad.
-
She can't get anything right because she's in love and a big singer and she has to find a balance.
